An 80s hall bathroom ditches the beige.
The homeowner wanted to renovate this kids bathroom without breaking the bank. Thatch selected cost effective finishes to bring this bathroom out of the 80s.
This hall bathroom hadn’t been touched since the home was built in 1986. The homeowners wanted to refresh the bathroom for their children to use.
The layout of the bathroom remained the same, and the homeowner chose a palette of white, blue, gray and brushed nickel finishes. The wall paneling and the hex floor tile add a traditional element against the modern vanity. The wall color is Benjamin Moore - Pure White and the paneling is Benjamin Moore - Decorator’s White.
The tub surround is tiled with 3 x 12 light blue subway tile. At less than $4/SF, it is a cost effective option that looked great without blowing the budget.
